Money bag - Thai food

Sunday, 15 April 2012

Making more of an effort to use our entertainment book vouchers before next years comes out, we tried out a place that we've always driven past but never tried. Money bags is on Old Northern rd, Baulkham hills.

We started with a serving of curry puffs ($7.70). The filling was delicious and the outer pastry was nice and crisp. Though it was tasty I would have preferred pastry that wasn't ass (as*) thick.

There were 4, we were just too hungry :)

There were a few dishes for mains. Duck in plum sauce ($25.90). The duck was succulent with not much fat. You could taste the seasoning of garlic, cinnamon and star anise.

Papaya salad with BBQ pork ($19.90). Great dish! The papaya wasn't spicy at all which is a good thing for us but it would have been nice for a bit of chilli.

Lastly, Pad Thai chicken ($14.90) and a serving of rice. We were exceptionally full after this meal.

Well if you're referring to MY ass, that means it was wafer thin, trim, taught and terrific !

    1. Thanks dogboy :p
Better stay away from the curry puffs if you want YOUR ass to stay trim.

I'll leave the spelling mistake in so your comment makes sense :)
